Art Deco 14kt Carved Carnelian & Enameled Dragon Link Bracelet
A wonderful carnelian and enameled link bracelet from the late Art Deco (ca1930) era! The piece, which is made of 14kt yellow gold, is comprised of alternating carved carnelian stones and illustrated enameled links. There are a total of three octagonal-shaped carnelian links, each bezel-set and hand carved with a beautiful flower on the surface. In between each carnelian cabochon is a rectangular gold link, which has a cutout design and an enameled surface. Each enameled link depicts the image of a fierce, fire breathing dragon which is black in color and framed with a burnt orange border. Ridged gold connectors complete the design, forming a straight but flexible bracelet that connects at a gold spring ring clasp. The bracelet is stamped "14K" on the underside along with a small makers mark and would fit nicely on an average sized wrist. It has a wonderful look that is very versatile and perfect for everyday wear!
Measurements: The bracelet measures approximately 7.75" long. Each carnelian link measures 1" long, 3/8" wide, and 1/8" thick. The enameled rectangle links measure 1" long and 3/8" tall.
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, is no apparent damage to the gold setting, enameled surface, or to any of the carnelian stones. The spring ring clasp is secure and in good working condition.
