Art Deco Sterling Carved Floral Jade Ring
A lovely jade ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! This beautiful piece is made of sterling silver and features an artistic jade plaque that rests in the center of a simple sterling mounting. The jade displays a wonderful soft green color marbled with a milky, pale green hue throughout. The surface of the jade is intricately hand-carved with soft cutout shapes that depict a lovely floral motif. The stone is prong set within a feminine sterling mounting which has a double band design along with 2 small silver roses on each shoulder. The mounting on the underside of the jade is stamped "STERLING" which is now only partially visible due to wear. A special Art Deco era piece, it looks fabulous when worn and would make a striking addition to any collection!
Measurements: The ring has a small finger size of 6.25 but could be easily resized if desired.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is great. There is some normal surface wear to the mounting as well as the jade, however this does not take away from the beauty of the piece when worn.
