Art Deco 14kt Diamond Filigree Teardrop Earrings 0.50ctw
An elegant pair of diamond earrings from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! These beautiful earrings, crafted in 14kt white gold, form a feminine filigree wirework design. The round surmount features a sparkling old Mine Cut diamond (approximately 0.05ct) at its center, encircled by an etched hexagonal border. Dangling below is a teardrop shaped design holding a larger old Mine Cut diamond (approximately 0.20ct), micro prong-set in a complimentary hexagonal shaped setting. Gorgeous filigree wirework and fine milgrain details are found throughout, and a simple screw back post is attached to the back of the topper. Wonderful rectangular airline cutouts can be seen from on the sides and a "14K" mark is stamped on each post back. A beautiful pair of earrings with a very Art Deco look, they would be stunning worn everyday or for special occasions!
Measurements: Each diamond earring hangs slightly under 1" long, is approximately 3/8" at its widest point and has a depth of 1/8".
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the white gold setting and all of the diamonds are secure and intact.
