Art Deco 14kt Gold Citrine Filigree Ring 6ctw
An absolutely lovely citrine ring from the Art Deco (ca1920s) era! Crafted in 14kt white gold, this beautiful piece has a decorative filigree design with a colorful gemstone center. Resting in the middle is a large 6.00ct citrine, which is held within a claw prong setting and raised above the surface. The vibrant citrine is beautifully faceted and oval in shape, and displays an intense shade of juicy, golden orange. Decorating the setting are fine filigree wirework details and engraved accents, which create a lattice-style motif, with feminine flowers and flourishes. A smooth band completes the look and stamped along the inside of the shank is a makers mark along with a "14K" purity stamp. When worn, the ring has a high profile and makes quite a bold statement! A perfect pop of color, this gemstone ring would make a special addition to any Art Deco jewelry collection.
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 5.25 but, could easily be re-sized if desired. When worn, the citrine rests approximately 1/4" above the finger. The band measures 2.5mm wide at the back.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold filigree setting or to the citrine stone, which is securely set and free of any major scratches or chips.
