Art Deco 14kt Amethyst & Seed Pearl Filigree Ring
A gorgeous amethyst ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! Made of 14kt white gold, the ring has an intricate filigree design with a feminine floral motif. At the center is a beautiful amethyst gemstone, which is oval in shape and beautifully faceted. The amethyst rests in an open back setting and displays a luscious light purple color. A border of delicate natural seed pearls surrounds the amethyst, strung on fine wire. Four small flower accents rest around the edges, complimenting the floral details found within the filigree wirework pattern. Tapered shoulders and lightly engraved detail complete the intricate design, extending to a smooth band in the back. This gorgeous ring is exemplary of the Twenties' style and would make a beautiful addition to any collection!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 4.75 but could be resized. The amethyst stone and its surrounding setting measures 3/4" tall and 5/8" wide.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the white gold filigree setting, or to the amethyst stone and seed pearls, all of which are intact.
