Art Deco 14kt Mother of Pearl & Diamond "Saint Fabiola" Charm
A lovely charm from the Art Deco (ca1920s) era! This petite pendant is crafted in 14kt white gold, and features a round mother of pearl plaque at the center. The surface is carved with a portrait of Saint Fabiola, a Roman nurse who cared for the poor and sick, eventually pledging her life to her charitable work. who is shown in profile with fabric draped around her head and shoulders. Surrounding the plaque is a simple bezel border, detailed with delicate rose cut diamonds along the edges. The mother of pearl has a shimmery white color with soft pink and green hues that are visible when turned in the light. Completing the design is a complimentary bail attached at the top, perfect for hanging the pendant from a fine chain. This beautiful pendant would make a special everyday piece, whether worn alone or grouped with other charms!
Measurements: The charm hangs 1 1/8" long (including the bail), measures 3/4" in diameter, and is 1/8" thick.
