Art Deco 14kt Onyx & Diamond Filigree Pendant
A stunning filigree onyx pendant from the Art Deco (ca1930) era! Set in 14kt white gold, this beautiful piece is comprised of a large black onyx plaque with a single diamond set in the center. The diamond rests within a box setting that is riveted into the center of the plaque. The beautiful white gold frame is very ornate and detailed and stands out dramatically against the rich black background. Very fine filigree wirework graces the front of the piece, with a subtle floral motif that resembles swirled vines and leaves curling around the edges of the border. Delicate milgrain detail adds a lovely finishing touch to the already lovely design. The pendant hangs from a complimentary white gold filigree bail which is perfect for hanging from your favorite chain. An absolutely gorgeous Art Deco piece, it merges perfectly into modern fashion and would look fabulous worn everyday!
Measurements: The pendant hangs 1 3/8" long, is slightly more than 3/4" at the widest point and has a depth of 1/8".
Condition: The overall condition of the piece is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the white gold setting or to the onyx plaque, and the diamond is intact. The bail is secure and in good condition.
