A fabulous Art Deco beaded pearl tassel necklace from the 1930s! This exquisite piece is comprised of a fabulous tassel pendant that hangs from a fine 14kt white gold chain. The tassel has an onyx bead topper which attaches to an etched 14kt white gold bail. A crown-like wirework base can be found below the bead topper, where 20 strands of seed pearls connect. The pearls come together to form a long tassel and have wonderful luster which looks fabulous next to the rich black onyx. It is an absolutely stunning necklace and would make a perfect accessory for any occasion!
Measurements: The length of the chain measures approximately 20" long and the tassel hangs approximately 2 1/2" long.
Condition: The overall condition of the piece is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting and chain, onyx bead or to the pearls, all of which are intact. The clasp is secure and in good working condition.
