Art Deco 14kt Rock Quartz Crystal Diamond & Enamel Pendant
A very striking pendant from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! This beautiful pendant is crafted in 14kt gold with platinum accents. The piece is comprised of a frosted rock quartz crystal plaque, which rests within a circular bezel frame. Decorating the border are delicate rose cut diamonds, which are interspersed throughout the matte black enameled surface. A single mine cut diamond rests at the center of the rock quartz disc, a wonderful sparkling accent! The center diamond rests in a platinum box setting, which is riveted through the center of the plaque. Completing the design is a complimentary platinum and gold diamond bail. The side of the bail is hallmarked and stamped "750." A gorgeous black and white piece, it would look stunning worn on a favorite chain!
Measurements: The pendant hangs 1 1/2" long (including the bail at the top). The circular pendant measures 1" in diameter, and is 3/8" at the thickest point.
Condition: The overall condition of the piece is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold and platinum setting. The frosted rock quartz crystal plaque is free of chips or scratches, and all of the diamond accents are intact and securely set. The black enamel accents remain in excellent condition. The bail is securely attached.
