Art Deco 14kt Sardonyx Diamond & Enamel Filigree Ring
A beautiful and artistic filigree ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! Resting in the center of the 14kt white gold setting is a rectangular sardonyx plaque in a bezel setting. The rich burnt sienna color of the stone is simply beautiful, and is enhanced with soft scale-like carvings along the surface. A single accent diamond rests in a riveted box setting, adding a wonderful sparkle! Vibrant green and copper colored enamel forms a decorative border, adding a wonderful burst of color. Completing the design is an exceptional filigree wirework design, with an ornate "wicker" pattern accented with delicate rose gold flowers. Fine milgrain and engraved accents carry along the band and throughout the filigree setting. Stamped inside the shank is "14K". A fabulous Art Deco ring, it makes a gorgeous statement piece, and would make a unique addition to any collection!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 6.75, but could be re-sized. The rectangular centerpiece measures approximately 3/4" tall, 5/8" wide and rests approximately 1/4" above the finger when worn. The tapered band measures 3mm wide at the back.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the white gold mounting or filigree details. The sardonyx stone is free of chips or surface scratches, and the diamond is intact and securely set. The enamel remains in good condition, and is free of any noticeable chips or scratches.
