Art Deco 14kt Seed Pearl Diamond Filigree Necklace
This stunning filigree necklace from the Art Deco (ca1920) era is a true beauty! Made of 14kt white gold, this lovely piece has an elegant filigree design comprised of a drop extension that hangs from a complimentary chain. At the center is a beautiful pendant which forms an elongated shape and has a surface entirely comprised of intricate filigree wirework. The design features a single diamonds resting at the center, held within an individual milgrained box setting. Resting on either side of the pendant and incorporated into the chain are 2 ornate links which carry a complimentary filigree design. The 3 links join together at a collection of 3 seed pearls and additional pearls rest at the ends of the two side links. The ornate multi-link centerpiece attaches to a delicate and complimentary chain which clasps at the back. The filigree is simply exceptional in this piece, complete with floral accents throughout and fine milgrained detail and open wirework. It's an elegant and feminine piece and would make a stunning addition to any collection!
Measurements: The chain of the necklace measures approximately 16" long. The extension in the center hangs 1 1/2" long and the pendant measures 5/8" wide.
Condition: The overall condition of the necklace is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the white gold setting and all of the diamond and pearls are intact. The spring ring clasp is secure and in good working condition.
