Art Deco 18kt Diamond Engagement Ring 0.70ct
A gorgeous diamond engagement ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! This beautiful piece is made of 18kt white gold and holds a single old European Cut diamond resting in the center of a delicate filigree mounting. The center diamond is prong set and has H color, VS1 clarity, and an approximate total weight of 0.70ctw. Set within the shoulders of the ring are an additional 2 old European Cut diamonds, which have H-I range color, VS range clarity, and a total approximate weight of 0.10ctw. The mounting displays an exquisite filigree design complete with fine wirework, artistic cutouts, and delicate milgrained detail. Elegant engraving travels along the sides of the ring, completing the lovely Deco design. Stamped on the shank is "TRAUB ORANGE BLOSSOM" and "18K". The ring was appraised by an accredited and independent Gemologist in March 2017 and has a stated retail replacement value of $5,800.00. It looks absolutely stunning when worn and would make a perfect Deco engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring is a finger size 7.25, but it could easily be re-sized. When worn, the ring rests about 1/4" atop the finger.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the white gold setting or any of the diamond stones, all of which are intact and securely set.
