Art Deco 18kt Briolette Diamond Engagement Ring .55ct
An unusual diamond engagement ring from the Art Deco (ca1920s) era! Crafted in 18kt white gold, this beautiful ring frames a sparkling diamond Briolette at the center. The diamond weighs approximately .55ct, and has estimated H color and SI2 clarity. Two small Rose Cut accent diamonds are set at either side of center, a perfect compliment to the Briolette. Elegant hand-engraved details and shapely cutouts decorate the sides and edges of the filigree mounting. A smooth band in the back completes the design, and is stamped "18K" inside the shank. The ring was appraised by an independent and accredited GIA certified Graduate Gemologist in October 2016 and has a stated retail replacement value of $3,000.00. The presence of the beautiful Briolette diamond makes this vintage engagement ring quite a rare and unusual find!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 7.5, but could be resized if desired. The diamond centerpiece rests approximately 3/16" above the finger when worn. The band measures 2mm wide at the back.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the white gold filigree setting. The diamond Briolette is intact and securely set.
