Art Deco 18kt Champagne Diamond Engagement Ring 0.50ctw
This diamond engagement ring from the Art Deco era (ca1920) is simply stunning! Made of 18kt white gold, the ring holds a beautiful old Mine Cut diamond at the center. The diamond stone is prong set in an hexagonal shaped setting and weighs approximately 0.50ct. The sparkling champagne colored diamond has wonderful, rich color with soft pinkish brown hues and VS1 clarity. It is surrounded by an exceptional filigree wirework design, which extends all around the mounting, shoulders, and side edges of the ring and features a romantic floral motif. The ring was appraised by an independent and accredited Gemologist in August 2016 and has a stated retail replacement value of $2,500.00. The center stone is positively gorgeous and the ring look beautiful when worn. It would make a perfect engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring currently has a finger size 5.5, but could easily be re-sized if desired. When worn, the ring rests slightly more than 1/4" above the finger.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting, and all three of the diamonds are intact.
