Art Deco 18kt Diamond Engagement Ring 1.01ctw
A lovely late Art Deco (ca1920s) era diamond engagement ring! Crafted of 18kt white gold, this beautiful piece has an old European Cut diamond that rests in the center of an octagonal prong setting. The diamond has an approximate total weight of 1.01ctw, and exhibits J color, and I1 clarity. Lacy cutout filigree and milgrained details adorn the gallery and shoulders of the ring and the inside of the band reads "18K". The ring was appraised by an independent and accredited GIA-certified Graduate Gemologist in January of 2021 and has a stated retail replacement value of $7,000.00. This unique piece would make a stunning engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring is a finger size 6.5 but it could easily be resized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the white gold setting. The diamond is secure, however, there is a small chip along the girdle which is disclosed in the appraisal and also accounted for in the clarity assessment. The chip is not visible with the naked eye when worn.
