Art Deco 18kt Diamond Engagement Ring 1.10ct
A stunning diamond engagement ring from the Art Deco (ca1920s) era! This gorgeous piece adorns a 1.10ct old European Cut diamond at the center of a beautiful design. The prong set stone rests in an elegant "buttercup" style setting, and exhibits I/J color and I1 clarity, sparkling brilliantly in the light with every turn. A delicate filigree wirework design embellishes the mounting, while the split-shank shoulders form the shape of a beautiful leaf motif that trails into the band. Fine milgrain work is found throughout the piece, and finishing the design is a smoothly polished band that wraps around the back, and stamped inside of the shank is a "750" gold purity mark besides a maker's mark. The ring was appraised in November 2019 by an independent and accredited GIA-certified gemologist and has a stated retail replacement value of $7,500.00. A unique and magnificent piece, it would make a stunning engagement ring!
