Art Deco 18kt Diamond Engagement Ring 1.55ct
An outstanding diamond engagement ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! This spectacular ring features a stunning old European Cut diamond prong set at the center of an 18kt white gold mounting. The diamond weighs approximately 1.55ct and has L color and SI2 grade clarity. Intricate filigree wirework decorates the shoulders and sides of the setting, complete with shapely cutouts and fine milgrained detail that create a lacy appearance. The tapered band is stamped "18K" along the shank. The ring was appraised by an independent and accredited GIA certified gemologist in May 2016 and has a stated retail replacement value of $10,000.00. The design is simply breathtaking, and would make a magnificent engagement ring for someone special!
Measurements: The ring is a finger size 6, but could easily be resized. The center stone rests about 5/16" above the finger when worn.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the white gold filigree setting and the diamond is intact and securely set.
