Art Deco 18kt Jade Cabochon Ring
A wonderful jade ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! This lovely ring features a jade cabochon that rests at the center of an 18kt white gold mounting. Delicate hand-engraved accents decorate the pillar-style shoulders at the sides of the band. The jade stone itself displays a beautiful natural green color, which is lightly marbled with pale, milky hues throughout. The shank tapers in towards the back and is stamped "14" inside, along with a small hallmark symbol. A very special Art Deco era piece, it looks fabulous when worn and would make a unique addition to any collection!
Measurements: The ring has a small finger size of 4.75, but could be resized if desired. The oval jade centerpiece measures 3/4" tall, 1/2" wide, and rests about 1/4" above the finger when worn. The band measures 2mm wide in the back.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the white gold setting. The jade cabochon is intact, securely set, and free of chips or scratches.
