Art Deco 19kt Cushion Cut Diamond Engagement Ring 3.14ctw
An absolutely exquisite diamond engagement ring from the Art Deco (ca1920s) era! This beautiful piece is crafted in 19kt white gold and holds an old Cushion Mine Cut diamond at the center of an ornate etched mounting. The diamond, which is prong set in an east-west style, weighs 3.14ct, and displays L/M color and VS2 clarity. An engraved feathered design adorns both shoulders, creating an angel wing-like motif, and fine milgraining and flourishing cutouts grace the sides of the mounting. The band tapers in gracefully as it nears the back, and the inside of the shank is stamped "19K" beside a small makers mark. The ring was appraised by an independent and accredited GIA-certified Gemologist in June 2020 and has a stated retail replacement value of $30,000.00. It looks positively gorgeous when worn, and would make a spectacular vintage engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 7.5 but could easily be re-sized. The diamond centerpiece rests approximately 1/4" above the finger when worn.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the white gold setting or etched feather motif and the diamond is intact.
