Art Deco Dangling Platinum & Diamond Earrings 2.25ctw
An outstanding pair of diamond earrings from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! Each diamond-encrusted earring is made of platinum and has a very glamorous design. The elongated links hang from diamond surmounts with wire tops and hinged lever backs. Each hanging dramatic link is very geometric and representative of the Art Deco era, including shapely cutouts in the center and a overlapping chevron accents. Diamonds line the entire surface of each earring, weighing approximately 2.25ctw combined. Swinging inside the center of each link is a strand of three dangling diamonds, adding to the lovely shape and movement of the design. Delicate milgrain detail surrounds the diamond stones, which are pavé set and sparkle radiantly in the light. A magnificent pair of diamond earrings, they are beautifully made and look exquisite when worn. They would make an exquisite accessory for special occasions!
Measurements: Each earring hangs 1 3/4" long (including the wire surmounts), measures 1/2" at the widest point, and has a depth of 1/8".
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting, and all of the diamonds are intact. The lever back earrings wires are secure and in good working condition.
