Art Deco Platinum Diamond Engagement Ring 2.15ct
An absolutely gorgeous diamond engagement ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! This stunning piece is made of platinum and has a wonderful design that frames a sparkling old Cushion Cut diamond at the center. The center stone weighs approximately 2.15ct and has J color and SI2 clarity. Two baguette cut diamonds and ten single cut diamonds decorate the striking design at either shoulder. The baguette cut stones have a total approximate diamond weight of 0.10ctw, color in the H-I range and clarity in the VS range. While, the single cut stones have a total approximate diamond weight of 0.15ctw, color in the H-I range and clarity in the VS range. The smooth gold setting has fine milgrained detail, and an airline visible from the side. Stamped inside the shank is what appears to be a maker's initials mark that reads "LHK". The ring was appraised in May 2016 by an independent and accredited GIA certified Gemologist, and has a stated retail replacement value of $23,000.00. A simply stunning design, it looks stunning when worn and would make a special engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 6, but could easily be re-sized up or down.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting or to the diamonds, all of which are intact and securely set.
