Art Deco French Platinum Diamond Engagement Ring 3.42ct
A gorgeous diamond engagement ring from the late Art Deco (ca1930s) era! This incredible ring, which is of French origin, is made of platinum and holds an exceptional 3.42ct old European Cut diamond at the center. The diamond is prong set and has M color and VS2 clarity. Four Baguette Cut diamonds, which weigh approximately 0.45ctw combined are bezel set on at the shoulders of the mounting, creating a dramatic and wonderful look. An airline is visible from the side of the ring, which extends to a smooth and simple band in the back. Stamped on the outside of the band is a small dog and eagles head hallmark, indicating its French origin. The ring was appraised by an independent and accredited GIA certified gemologist in November 2016 and has a stated retail replacement value of $41,000.00. When worn, the ring is quite radiant and has a beautiful and unique design. It would make a very special vintage engagement ring!
