Art Deco French Plat Diam Step-Up Engage Ring 1.06ct
A beautiful French diamond engagement ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! Made of platinum, this gorgeous ring has a "step-up" style mounting with two graduated rows of diamonds on each shoulder and a gorgeous old European Cut diamond in the center. The center diamond, which is prong set, weighs approximately 1.06ct with J color and VS2 clarity. Lining the "steps" of the mounting are an additional 6 single cut diamonds, which add a beautiful sparkle! The accent stones have H-I range color and VS range clarity, with a combined carat weight of .08 ctw. Stamped on the outside of the band is a small French dog hallmark, indicating the setting is platinum. The ring was appraised in July 2015 by an independent and accredited GIA-certified Gemologist, and has a stated retail replacement value of $10,700.00. A very classic and feminine piece, it looks breathtaking when worn and would make a perfect engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 6.75 but could be easily re-sized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting or to any of the diamond stones, all of which are intact.
