Art Deco German Sterling Carved Sodalite Beaded Link Bracelet
A beautiful sodalite bracelet from the Art Deco (ca1930s) era! This vibrant piece, which is crafted with sterling silver, is comprised of four carved sodalite links which alternate with sections of spacer beads, forming a lovely link bracelet. Each elongated rectangular link has a convex surface and is bezel set within a milgrained frame. Connecting the links are three rows of sodalite beads which each contain three consecutive beads that are consistent in size and attach at sterling wire. The natural sodalite has beautiful coloring, displaying a wonderful range of royal blue hues marbled with grey, brown and white. The bracelet fastens at a sterling push clasp, which is incorporated into the design and disguised below the final link. The tongue of the clasp is stamped "GERMANY" and "STERLING." When worn, the bracelet makes a beautiful statement piece that would be right at home in any modern or vintage collection!
Measurements: The bracelet measures 7.25" long, and would fit nicely on a medium sized wrist. Each rectangular link measures 1" tall, a little more than 1/4" wide, and 1/4" thick. Each spacer bead measures approximately 8.25mm in size.
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling setting and the push clasp fastens securely and is in good working condition. The carved sodalite links and beads are intact, securely set, and free of any apparent chips or surface scratches.
