Art Deco Large Silver Onyx & White Zircon Cocktail Ring
A fantastic onyx cocktail ring from the Art Deco (ca1920s) era! This impressive piece is crafted in .900 purity silver, and is quite substantial in size and appearance. A large black onyx plaque is framed at the center, grasped within a 4-prong setting. The rectangular plaque has clipped corners and is smoothly polished, displaying a rich, glossy black finish. At the center of the onyx plaque is a large white zircon set within a bezel setting. The white zircon is a faceted old European Cut stone, delivering a lively natural sparkle that closely rivals a real diamond! Completing the design are pillar-style shoulders where the band meets the centerpiece, forming an architectural style that was very common during the Art Deco era. Stamped inside the smooth, simple band is a "900" silver stamp. The ring has a stylish look that translates perfectly into modern day fashion, and would make a wonderful everyday accessory!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 8.5, but could be easily resized. The rectangular onyx plaque measures 1/2" long, 5/8" wide, and rests approximately 1/4" thick. The band measures 2mm wide at the back.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the silver setting. The onyx stone is free of any visible chips or surface scratches, and the white zircon is intact and securely set.
