Art Deco Platinum Cabochon Natural Emerald Diamond Ring 2.80ct
An absolutely wonderful emerald and diamond ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! This fantastic piece is crafted in platinum and features a natural cabochon emerald set at its center. The stone, which is round in shape, has exquisite, luscious green color and a total approximate weight of 2.80ctw. It is bezel set within the beautifully made mounting, displaying a dramatic graduating band that adorns 18 old Rose Cut diamonds along the sides. Fine milgrained details and cutouts accent each shoulder and a split band completes the fantastic design. The emerald was graded by AGL (American Gemological Laboratories) in May 2014 and is stated to be a Natural Beryl Emerald of Colombian origin. It's an absolutely magnificent ring and would make a perfect addition to any collection or could make a beautiful alternative engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 4.25 but could easily be resized. When worn, the emerald center rests a little more than 1/4" on top of the finger.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum mounting or to the emerald and all of the diamonds are intact.
