A glorious platinum and diamond engagement ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! At the center of this outstanding piece is a sparkling old Mine Cut diamond stone, which sits within a gorgeous diamond encrusted platinum setting. Prong set in a box setting, the center stone has H color, SI1 clarity, and weighs approximately 1.07ct. Overlapping wirework and beautiful milgrained details can be found along the band, which adds to the beauty of this already stunning ring. A total of 28 sparkling single cut diamonds decorate the settign, weighing approximately .32ct tw combined, with H-I range color and VS2-SI1 range clarity. The inside of the band is stamped "10% IRID." and "PLATINUM." The ring was appraised in April 2013 by an independent and accredited GIA graduate gemologist for a stated retail replacement value of $13,500.00. An outstanding Art Deco era design, it would make a spectacular engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 6.25 but it could easily be re-sized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting and all of the diamonds are intact.
