Art Deco Platinum Diamond Engagement Ring 0.65ct
A gorgeous diamond engagement ring from the late Art Deco (ca1930s) era! This stunning platinum ring holds a sparkling 0.65ct old European Cut diamond at the center. The diamond is prong set, and has I color and VS1 clarity. Decorating the curvy shoulders of the ring are 8 additional accent diamonds, adding further sparkle! All of the accent stones are Single Cut diamonds, which collectively weigh approximately .15ctw with H-I range color and SI range clarity. Completing the design is an airline visible from the side, fine milgrain detail, and a smooth band in the back. Stamped inside the shank is "IRID-PLAT." The ring was appraised by an independent and accredited GIA certified Graduate Gemologist in August 2017, and has a stated retail replacement value of $3,850.00. Feminine and elegant in person, the ring has a unique shape and timeless beauty. It would make a very special vintage engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 7, but could easily be resized. The center stone rests approximately 3/16" above the finger when worn. The band measures 1mm wide at the back.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting or diamond stones, all of which are intact and securely set.
