Art Deco Platinum Diamond Engagement Ring 1.08ct
An incredible diamond engagement ring from the late Art Deco era (ca1930)! This stunning ring holds a prong set old European Cut diamond at the center of a decorative platinum mounting. The diamond has an exact weight of 1.08ct with F grade color and VS1 grade clarity. An additional 10 old European Cut diamonds accent the sides and shoulders of the cathedral-style setting, adding further light-catching radiance to the design. The accent stones weigh approximately 0.12cwt combined with H-I range color and VS range clarity. A combination of fine filigree cutouts, delicate milgrained detail, and engraved leaf accents complete the gorgeous design. The ring was appraised by an accredited and independent Gemologist in August 2016 and has a stated retail replacement value of $17,000.00. The ring is also accompanied by an GIA diamond report for the center stone, dated October 2015. The design is simply breathtaking when worn and would make an outstanding engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 6.75, but could be resized. When worn, the ring sits approximately 1/4" atop the finger at the highest point.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting, and all of the diamonds are intact.
