Art Deco Platinum Diamond Filigree Engagement Ring 1.25ct
A stunning diamond engagement ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! Crafted in platinum, this intricate flowing setting frames a gorgeous old European Cut diamond resting at the center. The prong-set diamond weighs 1.25ct and displays I color and SI2 clarity, catching the light beautifully with every turn. An elaborate filigree motif encircles the mounting and shoulders, complete with wirework swirls and fine milgrained detail. Set throughout the filigree design are shimmering old European Cut diamonds, providing an incredible light catching array that is visible from every angle. Completing the design is a lovely etched motif on the sides and edges of the band that graduates slightly towards the back. When worn, the ring is simply stunning and would make an exquisite engagement ring or special statement piece!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 6.25, but could be resized. When worn, the diamond centerpiece rests approximately 1/4" above the finger. The tapered band measures about 2mm wide at the back.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting and all of the diamonds are all intact and securely set.
