Art Deco Platinum Diamond + Jadeite Jade Dangle Earrings
A fabulous pair of jade earrings from the Art Deco (ca1920s) era! Crafted in platinum, each earrings begin with a simple earring wire atop a smoothly polished jadeite jade bead. A Single Cut diamond link hangs below, connecting to a diamond studded arc which dangles two asymmetrical rows of Single and Baguette Cut diamonds. The dramatic design is finished with matching jade orbs which swing freely from the bottom of each earring in a tiered manner. The jade beads display lovely marbling of rich, milky greens, and the earrings dangle with wonderful movement. These earrings look lovely worn during the day or at night, and would be a perfect addition to any collection!
Measurements: The earrings hang 1 7/8" including the earring wire and measure about 5/16" at their widest point. The jade beads measure slightly more than 5.5mm in diameter.
Condition: The earrings are in overall excellent condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting. The jade beads are free of significant chips or scratches and are securely set. All of the diamonds are intact and securely set. There appears to be an internal fracture along the back of one of the bottom jade beads, however, it is not noticeable when worn and does not affect the overall integrity or structure of the earrings.
