Art Deco Platinum Diamond Ornate Hexagonal-Shaped Ring
An absolutely lovely diamond ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! Crafted in platinum, this fabulous piece carries and unusual and striking design featuring 15 old Mine Cut Diamonds set within a beautiful wirework mounting. A 0.22ct old Mine Cut diamond is set in a box setting at the center of the piece, encircled by the remaining accent stones. The sparkling stones are set within a feminine elongated hexagonal-shaped centerpiece which rests in an east-west direction. The ring has a beautiful flowing design, interlaced with geometric and floral shaped cutout detailing, fine milgrain and a soft etched design which carries down the sides of the band. The shank is stamped "PLAT." It is an absolutely beautiful ring and would make a wonderful addition to any collection or could make a unique alternative diamond engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 5.5 but could easily be re-sized. The hexagonal-shaped center measures 1/2" tall and 7/8" wide.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting or to the diamonds, all of which are intact.
