Art Deco Platinum Pearl + Diamond Link Earrings
A stunning pair of pearl and diamond earrings from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! Crafted in platinum, each earring adorns a gorgeous pearl that dangles below a sparkling row of diamond encrusted links. The matching links are embellished with shapely cutouts, fine milgrain work, delicate etching and a trio of Single Cut accent diamonds, one of which is set within a lovely box setting at the center. The links are hinged together to form a straight but flexible design, allowing the sparkling diamonds to catch the light beautifully with every turn. Hanging at the base is the stunning round pearl, which exhibits a luscious, creamy white color and shimmery surface luster. The combination of the luscious pearls and sparkling diamonds against the platinum background is simply luxurious! A simple post and white gold earring back (stamped with a "14K") rest at the top, allowing the earrings to dangle with lovely movement, framing the face beautifully. When worn, the earrings make a spectacular statement piece and would make a timeless addition to any jewelry collection!
Measurements: Each earrings hangs approximately 2" long, and measures slightly more than 1/4" wide, and is 1/8" thick. Each pearl measures approximately 8.5mm in diameter.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting. All of the pearls and diamonds are intact and securely set. The earring post and back are secure and in good working order.
