A stunning diamond and sapphire engagement ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! This gorgeous ring is made of platinum and features a beautiful old Mine Cut diamond at the center. The diamond is prong set and has H color, VS2 clarity, and a weight of approximately 1.20ctw. Two triangular cut synthetic sapphires are set on either shoulder of the ring and 10 Single cut diamonds accent the stunning mounting. The sapphires have a beautiful brilliant blue color and compliment the diamond perfectly. Surrounding the stones is a gorgeous filigree mounting with a floral motif and delicate milgrained detail. The shank is stamped "PLATINUM" and the ring was appraised in June 2016 by an independent and accredited GIA certified Gemologist and has a stated retail replacement value of $15,000.00. A dazzling piece, it looks marvelous when worn and would make a perfect engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 6 but could be easily resized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting, diamond, or to the sapphire stones, all of which are intact.
