Art Deco Platinum Emerald, Diamond & Onyx Drop Earrings 4ctw
A stunning pair of emerald and diamond compilation earrings from the late Art Deco (ca1930) era! These elegant earrings are made of platinum and display a simple, yet beautiful drop design. Originally screw back earrings, the design now begins with a black onyx stone attached to an earring wire at the top. Four diamonds hang below, which are held in eyeglass settings and sparkle beautifully in the light! Dangling freely from the bottom is a natural emerald cabochon, which has been added to the earrings to complete their beautiful design. The emeralds have a vivid green color, and weigh approximately 4.00ctw combined. They rest below smooth platinum caps. When worn, the earrings dangle with lovely movement, framing the face beautifully. They are simply stunning and would look perfect worn on special occasions!
Measurements: The earrings hang 2 1/8" long, including the wires at the top. The emerald links at the base measure 3/4" long (including the platinum cap) and are about 3/8" wide and 1/4" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting, or to any of the diamond, emerald, or onyx stones, all of which are intact. The earring wires are secure and in good condition.
