Art Deco Platinum Moonstone + Diamond Ring
A gorgeous moonstone ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! Crafted in platinum, this beautiful piece holds a stunning cabochon moonstone at the center of a sleek and stylish mounting. The polished moonstone is very alluring, exhibiting a pale blue color and strong iridescent flash. Framing the elongated moonstone at either side are two curved rows of sparkling Single Cut diamonds, which form a crescent-like shape in a milgrained scalloped setting. Ornate wirework can be seen from all sides of the mounting and the smoothly polished band graduates slightly towards the back, completing the stunning design. An exquisite Art Deco piece, it has a beautiful look and would make a wonderful addition to any collection!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 5.5, but could easily be re-sized. The moonstone and diamond centerpiece measures 3/4" tall, 5/8" wide and rests approximately 3/8" above the finger when worn.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting and the moonstone and diamonds are all intact and securely set.
