Art Deco Platinum & Natural Blue Zircon Filigree Ring 2.69ct.
A brilliant blue zircon ring from the early Art Deco (ca1915) era! This eye-catching ring is made of platinum and displays a natural blue zircon that rests within an intricate filigree mounting. The blue zircon, which weighs 2.69ct., displays an intense sparkling blue color and is prong-set at the center of a hexagonal-shaped setting. Delicate milgrain detail surrounds the stone, and the shoulders and sides of the gallery reveal an incredible geometric-inspired filigree wirework design. The band is fairly thin and has a simple groove that carries along the outside surface. A very striking early Deco piece, this gorgeous ring is impossible to miss and makes a true statement when worn!
Measurements: The zircon stone measures 5/8" tall, slightly less than 3/8" wide and 1/8" deep. The ring has a finger size 4.75 but could easily be re-sized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or to the zircon stone, which is intact.
