Art Deco Platinum Ruby & Diamond Line Bracelet
A beautiful diamond and ruby line bracelet from the Art Deco (c.1920) era! This gorgeous platinum bracelet is lined with sparkling diamonds and cabochon rubies. A series of links are hinged together to form a straight but flexible bracelet that wraps comfortably around the wrist when worn. Each bar link holds a row of 4 single cut diamonds, which alternate with luscious rubies that are bezel set. The rubies are a lovely detail that adds just the right colorful accent to the lovely piece! The diamonds weigh approximately 1.00ctw combined, while the natural rubies weigh approximately .25ct each, or 3.00ctw together. Fine milgrain detail surrounds the stones, while a hand engraved wheat pattern adorns the sides of each link. The bracelet's push clasp is incorporated in the design, hidden within one of the diamond bar links. A safety latch underneath provides extra security when worn. This stunning bracelet makes a wonderful statement all on its own, and would also look beautiful grouped with other complimentary bracelets. Elegant and feminine, it could be worn day or night!
Measurements: The bracelet measures approximately 6 3/4" long and would fit nicely on an average sized wrist.
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum links, which move freely with all hinged connections in good working order. All of the diamonds and rubies are intact. The clasp and safety latch are secure and in good working condition.
