Art Deco Platinum Cabochon Sapphire Ring
A simply stunning sapphire ring from the late Art Deco (ca1930) era! This fantastic piece has sapphire center that is a domed cabochon shape. The stone weighs approximately 1ctw and has a wonderful, rich blue color. The sapphire is prong set within the platinum setting, which also holds an additional Baguette Cuts sapphire on each shoulder. It looks absolutely stunning on and would make a perfect addition to any collection and could also make an beautiful and unique engagement ring!
Measurements: The face of the ring measures slightly more than 1/2" wide, 3/8” tall, and sits 3/8” above the finger. The ring has a finger size 5.75, but could easily be resized if desired.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no serious damage to the sapphire or to the platinum and all of the stones are intact.
