Art Deco Platinum Sapphire & Diamond Gypsy Ring 1.15ctw
A stunning sapphire and diamond ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! This gorgeous "gypsy" style ring is crafted in platinum, and has an incredible diamond-encrusted setting. A trio of stones are set across the front, including two luscious sapphires that frame a diamond center. Delicate accent diamonds cover the sides and shoulders of the mounting, and additional sapphires at either side provide the perfect finishing touch. Collectively, the sapphires and diamonds have a combined weight of approximately 1.15ctw. The center diamond is an old Mine Cut stone weighing approximately .30ctw, with estimated H color and SI1 clarity. The sapphires at either side weigh about .25ct each, and add a perfect pop of color! Completing the design are beadwork prongs throughout, and a smooth platinum band that tapers in at the back. Whether worn alone or paired with other complimentary rings, this would make a special addition to any vintage jewelry collection!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 6.5, but could be re-sized. The surface of the ring measures approximately 3/8" wide. The tapered band measures 1mm wide at the very back.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting. All of the diamonds and sapphires are intact and securely set.
