Art Deco Platinum Sapphire & Diamond Line Bracelet
A gorgeous sapphire and diamond line bracelet from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! Made of platinum, this stunning piece is comprised of 20 sparkling old European Cut diamonds that exhibit G,H, and I color, and VS-1,VS-2 clarity. There are 20 French Cut, natural sapphires, which alternate in groups of five to create an attractive pattern. The sapphires, which are channel set, have a total weight of 6.50ctw. and display a beautiful deep blue color. Delicate milgrain detail surrounds the stones, and a beautiful engraved pattern accents the sides of the bracelet. The box settings hinge together and move freely, giving the bracelet a comfortable level of flexibility when worn. The piece opens and closes at a push clasp that is hidden within one of the links of the bracelet, and there is also a hinged latch for added security. The bracelet was appraised by an independent and accredited GIA-certified Graduate Gemologist in June 2019, and has a stated retail replacement value of $15,000. An elegant piece, this versatile bracelet would be stunning worn everyday or for special occasions!
Measurements: The bracelet measures approximately 7 1/4" long, and slightly more than 1/8" wide and thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting or to any of the diamonds and sapphires, all of which are intact. The clasp and safety clasp both fasten securely and are in good working condition.
