Art Deco Platinum Star Sapphire Pearl + Diamond Man Charm
A fantastic and unusual diamond, star sapphire and pearl charm/pendant from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! Made of platinum, this wonderful piece forms the shape of a charming man. The man's legs are encrusted with diamonds, while two additional diamonds are set within each hand. His head is represented by a lustrous pearl, and his top hat is coated in rich, black enamel. At his belly is a single star sapphire cabochon, which is bezel set in platinum. The charm hangs from a simple bail at the top, which allows it to be worn as a perfect addition to a charm bracelet, or as a small pendant on a necklace chain. It's a lovely charm and would make a lovely addition to any collection!
Measurements: The charm/pendant hangs 1 1//8" long, is 5/8" wide and is 1/4" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the charm/pendant is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting. The diamonds, pearl, and sapphire are all intact. There is very minor wear to the enameling on his hat, however, this is not noticeable when worn.
