Art Deco 14kt Carved Rock Crystal, Pearl & Onyx Earrings
A beautiful pair of carved rock crystal earrings from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! These stunning earrings are most likely of Chinese decent and have a long, dramatic appearance. The earrings feature rock quartz crystal accents, natural seed pearls and onyx beads which come together to create a fabulous look. Each begins with a 14kt white gold post topper which attaches to a bold, alternating design. The design consists of 2 round onyx beads, 2 natural seed pearls and 2 faceted rock crystal spacers with a long, hexagonal onyx bead resting in the center. Dangling from the bottom is a large, rock quartz crystal link which has an ornate hand-carved image that reflects the piece's Chinese origin. The black and white combination along with the extensive length of the earrings, create a striking design which frames the face beautifully, making them a fantastic statement when worn!
Measurements: Each earring hangs approximately 3" in total length. The carved crystal links measure 1" long, 3/4" wide, and 1/4" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or posts. The carved crystal links and spacers, seed pearls and onyx beads are are all intact, securely set, and free of any noticeable damage.
