Art Deco Sterling & Faceted Triangle Link Crystal Necklace
A beautiful and unusual rock quartz crystal necklace from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! This striking piece is set in antiqued sterling silver and comprised of a row of large rock quartz crystal links that form a collar length necklace. Each clear crystal is triangular in shape and beautifully faceted on both sides, designed to catch the light perfectly when worn. The crystals are held within a sterling pinch bezel at the top and are linked together with simple sterling "o" rings. At the back of the chain is a sterling spring ring clasp. This fantastic Art Deco piece has a wonderful look that is both fashion-forward and feminine. A very versatile necklace, it would compliment any jewelry collection!
Measurements: The necklace measures approximately 16.5" long. Each triangular crystal link measures approximately 3/4" long on each side and is 1/4" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the necklace is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the crystals or to the sterling silver setting, and the clasp is secure and in good working condition. There is a darkened natural patina visible on the sterling setting, which is normal for a piece of this era and adds greater depth to the design.
