Art Deco Sterling Jade Ring Link Chain Necklace
A wonderful jade necklace from the Art Deco (ca1930) era! This beautiful piece is comprised of nine jade rings that alternate with sections of sterling silver chain. The natural jade links are smoothly polished and have lovely pale green and milky white coloring. Two sterling silver rings grasp the jade links at either side, and a simple spring ring clasp fastens the necklace in the back. An open link at the back of the chain can be used to fasten the clasp with a 2" extension hanging in the back, making the length of the necklace adjustable. A beautiful and stylish piece, it merges perfectly into modern day fashion and would make a wonderful everyday accessory!
Measurements: The full length of the necklace measures 27.5" long, and when worn with the 2" extension hanging in the back, the adjusted length measures 25.5" long. Each jade ring has an outer diameter of 5/8" and is 1/16" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the necklace is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling chain or to the jade rings, all of which are intact. The clasp fastens securely and is in good working condition.
