Art Deco Sterling Moonstone Link Bracelet
A lovely moonstone bracelet from the Art Deco (ca1930s) era! This beautiful piece is comprised of seven links, each featuring a smooth moonstone cabochon held within an engraved sterling bezel. The moonstones vary slightly in size, with the larger stones resting at the center, and the smaller stones at the ends. The stones are very alluring in appearance, each displaying a pale blue color, which has an iridescent flash and lovely translucent quality. The open back settings allows light to pass through each stone, accentuating their natural beauty. In between each stone are simple sterling connectors, and the piece fastens with a spring ring clasp at the end. A versatile everyday piece, it would look wonderful worn alone with other complimentary bracelets and is perfect for any moonstone lover!
Measurement: The bracelet measures approximately 7 1/2" long and would fit nicely on an average/medium to large sized wrist. The largest moonstone link measures 5/8" long, 3/8" wide, and 3/16" thick. The smallest links measure about 1/2" long, 3/8" wide, and 1/4" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the moonstones or sterling silver setting. The loop connectors and the spring ring clasp are secure and in good working condition. There is a natural patina on the surface of the sterling that gives it a slightly darkened antique appearance. This is normal for vintage jewelry and adds to its beauty and character.
