Art Deco Sterling & Tiered Multi-Strand Square Crystal Necklace
This gorgeous crystal necklace from the Art Deco era (ca1920) is simply stunning! The necklace is comprised of beautiful square-shaped crystals, which are prong set in open back sterling frames. Each crystal is beautifully faceted and catches the light perfectly when worn, creating a stunning, sparkling appearance! At the center of the piece is a tiered 5-strand extension, which ends with a larger crystal at the very center. A spring ring clasp stamped "STERLING" fastens the chain together at the back. When worn, the necklace drapes elegantly at the neckline, and the extension is a perfect and stylish accent. Timeless and beautiful, this necklace would be perfect for special occasions or daily wear!
Measurements: The entire necklace measures approximately 16" long, and the tiered extension in the center hangs 2 1/8" long. Each square crystal measures 3/16" in size.
Condition: The overall condition of the necklace is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling silver setting or to any of the crystals, all of which are intact. The spring ring clasp is secure and in good working condition.
