A beautiful amethyst ring from the Art Nouveau (ca1900s) era! Crafted in 14kt rosy-yellow gold, this lovely piece has an artistic floral engraved setting that holds a large oval-shaped amethyst at the center. The amethyst stone has a gorgeous purple color and is beautifully faceted to catch the light when worn. A leaf motif decorates the sides with an open-back setting, adding further beauty to the sculpted design. Measurements: The ring has a finger size 5.75 but could easily be resized. The amethyst stone measures approximately 11/16" long, 1/2" wide, and rests a little more than 3/8" above the finger when worn.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold mounting. The amethyst stone is intact and securely set.
