Art Nouveau 14kt Carnelian Cabochon Ring
A stunning carnelian ring from the Art Nouveau (ca1890) era! This lovely ring is made of vibrant 14kt yellow gold and holds a single carnelian cabochon at its center. Surrounding the stone is a filigree design comprised of swirled, flowing cutouts and engraved detail- very exemplary of the Art Nouveau era. The carnelian has a rich, deep orange color and slight translucence that looks beautiful paired with the bright gold setting! A natural patina rests within the grooves of the design, adding further depth to the band and shoulders. Stamped inside the shank is a hallmark with the letter "R." A fantastic everyday ring, it has very artistic look and would compliment any collection!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 7.5, but could be easily re-sized if desired.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or carnelian cabochon, which is intact and securely set.
