Art Nouveau 14kt Large Cabochon Blue Moonstone Ring
A stunning moonstone ring from the Art Nouveau (ca1910) era! This lovely piece is crafted in 14kt yellow gold, and features a large oval cabochon moonstone resting at its center. The bezel-set moonstone displays an alluring translucent quality with soft flashes of light blue that catch in the light. The gold setting is simple yet beautiful, featuring a weaved buckle-like design at the shoulders which blends seamlessly into the simple graduated band. A very attractive ring, it would be perfect for everyday wear and would make a special addition to any collection!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 8, but could easily be re-sized. The front of the ring (where the moonstone rests) measures approximately 7/8" tall and 5/8" at the widest point of the stone. When worn, the ring rests a little less than 1/2" above the finger.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or to the moonstone, which is intact and securely set.
